Diane Marie Kelly, age 50 of Merriam, KS passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 9, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.

A vigil prayer service will be 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024 at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen, IA.  Rev. Timothy Pick will officiate.  There will be no visitation before the service.  Celebration of life will follow the service at Beer City, 128 S Washington St., Remsen, IA.

Diane was born April 16th,1973 to Eugene "Gene" and Janet (Kunkel) Wurth in Remsen. Diane was raised on the family farm and attended Remsen St. Mary's School graduating in 1991. 

Diane went to Western Iowa Tech for 2 years and then moved to Kansas to pursue her career as an Engineer/Architect.

She enjoyed many vacations with family and friends. Her hobbies included playing games, canoeing, camping, volleyball, and attending sports events and activities for her children.

Diane leaves behind her husband, Jim Kelly; two children Parker and Alexis Kelly all of Merriam, Kansas; her parents, Gene and Janet Wurth of Remsen IA; ten siblings, Ron (Trish) Wurth, Ken (Michelle) Wurth, Jolene Johnson, Pat (Laura) Wurth all of Remsen, IA; Jacquie (Cliff) Hansen, Tim (Roxanne) Wurth all of Le Mars, IA; Chuck (Tracey) Wurth, Kathy Hanson, Karla (Lance) Pierce all of Remsen, IA; Doug (Melissa) Wurth of Kingsley, IA; numerous nieces and nephews.
