James Allen Fiedler was born May 14, 1970 in Storm Lake IA, the son of Roman and Lavonne (Kunkel) Fiedler. He was raised in Remsen and received his education from Remsen St. Marys. On Oct. 26, 2023, Jamie was married to Becky Rohmiller.
Jamie had various jobs over the years including Motor Inn and maintenance supervisor at Wells both located in LeMars.
In a world full of rules, Jamie was a guy who threw caution to the wind, living a life that was a little wild and often spontaneous, always with a big grin on his face. He kept busy with many hobbies. In the summer, you could find him riding motorcycles and side by sides, boating, camping, and having cookouts with friends and family. He looked forward to his yearly trip to Sturgis, especially riding through Spearfish Canyon and ending the night at Buffalo Chip.
Winters were spent in the shop with a little work and a lot of Busch Light and laughter. The whole year revolved around derbies, whether it was working on cars, going to derbies, or announcing derbies. He loved the TBL family. One of his proudest moments was TBL winning Blizzard Bash National Champion in 2021. His greatest joy in life were his grandkids, Ky and Tucker. He loved to spoil them and spend as much time with them as he could.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother Lavonne Fiedler of Remsen; wife Becky of Remsen; his son, Tyler (Katelyn) Fiedler, and their children, Tucker and Ky Leigh; his son, Jacob Fiedler; stepdaughter, Chelsee (Adam) DeBolt; stepson, Cole Rohmiller; siblings, Donna (Paul) Feller, Gary (Barb) Fiedler, Rick Fiedler, Bonnie (Chuck) Hahn, Loren (Julie) Fiedler, Dale (Sheila) Fiedler, Floyd (Deb) Fiedler, Gail (Steve) Thill, Carl (Lisa) Fiedler, John Fiedler, Twyla (Todd) Lindsey, Todd (Sara) Fiedler; parents in-law, Jack (Connie) Kounkel; brothers-in-law, John Deman, Chad (Sandi) Kounkel, Derek (Cam) Kounkel; many nieces nephews and extended family and friends.
