Lynn Fromme, age 80, of Remsen, IA died Friday, April 26, 2025.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Remsen, with the Rev. Alan Cummins officiating. Burial will be in Remsen City Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen. Visitation will resume Wednesday 9-9:45 a.m. at the church.

Lynn William Fromme was born June 4, 1944, at Sacred Heart Hospital in LeMars, the son of Delmar and Faye (Richardson) Fromme. He was raised on the family farm south of Remsen and graduated from LeMars Community High School in 1962. He then attended NBT College, graduating in 1965. After graduation, he began farming with his father.

On Feb. 13, 1972 he married Dianne Asmussen at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Remsen. The couple made there home on a farm near Remsen where Lynn and Dianne worked together in all aspects of farming. Dianne passed away Nov. 30, 2020.

They were members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Remsen.

Survivors include, Lynn’s sister, Joan Quinn of Remsen; nephew C. Dale Quinn of Rigby, ID; three great-nephews; brother-in-law, Delwyn Asmussen of Sun City West, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar and Faye (Richardson) Fromme, Diane’s parents, Oscar and Marie (Harms) Asmussen, Dianne’s three brothers, Arvin, Alvern Verlyn; Dianne’s sister, Vonnie Asmussen.

Casket bearers will be Jed Henrich, John Roling, Jordan Miller, Blake Miller, Jason Grage and Michael Grage.
