Raymond LeRoy Eubanks

Raymond LeRoy Eubanks, 49, of Remsen, died Saturday, March 11, 2017, at his home in Remsen, IA.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen, with the Pastor Dennis Martens officiating. Burial will be at the Remsen Community Cemetery. Raymond was born May 23, 1967, at Anna, IL, the son of Frank and Delorse (Davis) Eubanks.

Susan and Raymond met in Mountain Home, Idaho and got married June 14, 1991. They moved back to Iowa shortly after.

Raymond was a very hard worker. He worked at Advance Brands Pierre for 21 years and also at Ruhland Nursery for a number of years until his health stopped him. He loved hunting and fishing. Raymond loved to help Jimmy work on his racecar and went to many races with him. He loved everyone and everyone loved him.

Ray was survived by his wife, Susan of Remsen, one son from a previous marriage, Kenneth Ray Eubanks in Texas; one step son, Brandon in Idaho; one daughter, Sara Elizabeth Eubanks (Michael Achenbach) of Remsen, IA; two step-daughters, Shawn Squibb (Joe Eden) of Akron, IA and Amy Squibb of Sioux City, IA; ten grandchildren, Colt Johns, Andy and Savannah Squibb, Ethan and Paxton Schrick, Reilly Top, Ashton and Alyssa Eden and Ezio and Ezekiel Eubanks; nine brothers and sisters, Darlene, Frankie, Bill, Shawn Owen, Cricket Sue, Tiny, Debbie, Crystal Rose and David Wayne all of Illinois. Brother-in-law Dave (Debbie) Robinson of Kingsley ,IA. Sister-in-law Marilyn Huffmann of Austin, MN. and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Glen & Dorothy Robinson, one step-son James Squibb, two brothers-in-law, Duane Huffmann and Raymond Robinson.
